Illuminating Yellow and Ultimate Gray is Pantone’s Color of the Year. I’ve been thinking of what to make with this color combination and came up with the idea of a flower coaster. I only have the yellow in my yarn stash though, I have yet to find gray down town, but I started it out anyway and hey, I’m loving the texture. It somehow reminds me of Lio, my lion stuffed toy from childhood. I believe that I’ve already given the thing away years ago as part of a bundle of joy (clothes, toys, and other things for children in disaster affected communities). I hope it did make a child happy.
